These DIY Drunk-in-love cowgirl hats were super simple to create but they were a huge hit for my daughter’s themed bachelorette party.
We had much trial and error with these hats. But finally figured out a great way to make them.
What you need
- Cowboy hats (of course!) We bought these hats at Hobby Lobby for $1.
- Feather Boas
- Gems
- A hot glue gun and with plenty of glue!
- Glitter
- Mod Podge
1. Paint and Glitter the hats
We painted each hat with acrylic paint in the color of glitter we were going to use.
Remember to paint the underside rim as well.
2. Print Logos
We then decided on the girls favorite alcohol and color schemes.
Since we were only using them for personal use, we just the found logos for each on Google and printed logos on card stock and cut them out we painted the hat with mod Podge pasted the logo in the front middle and then glittered the entire top side of the hat.
3. Add the Bling
We added gems around the logo to give the logos a finished edge. And once they were dry, we added hot glue around the rim and put the boa on it.
